Hans Jungsberger was a man amongst men. He stood tall and calm like a captain at the wheel of the proudest ship, his beloved Lilo ever at his side. It was an honor to be welcome in his home and in his life. I loved you, Hans, and still do, and always will.
Hans passed away on November 14, 2016, at the age of 78. He spent his youth in the Bavaria region of Germany and then, in 1957, at the age of 19, he immigrated to the United States, where he lived for the rest of his life. In 1959, at the age of 21, he married Lisalotte, affectionately known as Lilo, the love of his life, with whom he stayed happily married to the very end. In 1961, when he was 23, his first child, Loretta, destined to be my wife and the mother to my children, was born. Three years later came a son, John; with another three years came a second son, Peter; and then, after another three years, a second daughter, Helga, completed the family.
